The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends, fellow students and instructors of Itspanih’kaki (Singing in the Clouds Woman) Ry’anne Koby Bruised Head, who passed away on Sept. 28, 2022 at the age of 24.
Bruised Head, who was a direct descendant of Miikasto, Chief Red Crow, began studying at ULethbridge in 2017, pursuing a bachelor of arts with a major in psychology. Members of the University community who would like support in coping with this loss are invited to contact Counselling Services.
An obituary is available online at Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels. In honour of Bruised Head, the University will lower its flag on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
