Condolence Notice — Isaac Andrew Viher Johansen

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fellow students of Isaac Andrew Viher Johansen, who passed away July 14, 2021 in Calgary at the age of 19.

Johansen first attended the U of L in Fall 2020 in the Faculty of Arts & Science with a major in economics. He also played baseball and was part of the Prairie Baseball Academy. An obituary is available at McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes.

Condolence Notice — Sharon Malec (BEd ’73)

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the friends and family of Sharon Malec, who passed away on Sunday, August 8 at the age of 73 years.

Malec was a member of the University Senate as a representative of the U of L Alumni Association from 2011 to 2017. During that time, she was also a member of the outreach and honorary degree committees.
