On March 29, 2019 the University of Lethbridge will hold a one-day, interdisciplinary workshop on the topics of protest and civil disobedience. This will be held in conjunction with the visit of Dr. Candice Delmas (Northeastern University) as she launches her book A Duty to Resist. The workshop will showcase research and initiatives of Lethbridge faculty and students on this topic made pressing by the current political climate.

New Geography Course Fall 2018

Insect Biogeography and Ecology (GEOG 4030 or ENVS 4000)

We will start with general insect science and biodiversity, and then discuss case studies 

of insect ecological interactions, evolution, movement, migration, invasion, and

The U of L is partnering with Fulbright Canada to support the Fullbright Canada Research Chair in Water and Environment. Submissions are due August 1, 2018.

The NSERC CREATE program supports the training of students & Postdoctoral Fellows in strategic research areas. Deadline for Expression of Interest: March 12, 2018.
