Services & Equipment
Metabolic Fitness Testing
We provide metabolic fitness testing assessment including resting metabolic levels, anaerobic fitness tests like the Wingate, and Aerobic protocols like the VO2 max.
Body Composition & Bone Health
We offer dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scanning with the GE Lunar Prodigy scanner to measure body fat, lean mass, and bone mineral density. DXA scanners are the gold standard equipment for measuring body composition in academia.
Specialized Equipment
We offer a PARVO metabolic cart for precise gas exchange analysis during exercise; plus, additional tools for biomechanical and physiological monitoring. This equipment is the gold standard for physiological fitness testing in athletics and research settings.
Accessibility
Our performance lab is open everyone including:
university researchers for collaborative projects
fee-based public services including team testing for local sports clubs
personalized fitness consultations
opportunities for students to volunteer and develop essential hands-on skills
