| Day 1— October 16, 2006 — London, England
Arriving at Heathrow airport we boarded a bus for London and after a short walk arrived at the Bed & Breakfast we had found on the internet. It was a book lovers dream run by an eccentric older lady and the cluttered surroundings was the breath of old England we had hoped for. |

| After settling in we went out to explore the area. The victoria tube station was only a few minutes away so after investigating how we would get to the airport when the time came, we stopped by Marks & Spencer to pick up some salads and wound our way home. The evening was spent emersed in old books until jet lag took over. | ||||||||
