Dr. Rebecca Schiff is Deputy Provost and Professor of Health Sciences at University of Lethbridge. Schiff came to ULethbridge from an appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Human and Health Sciences at the University of Northern British Columbia. Prior to that role, she held teaching and administrative positions including as Chair of the Department of Health Sciences and Professor of Indigenous, Rural and Remote Health at Lakehead University as well as Assistant Professor of Indigenous Health in the Memorial University Faculty of Medicine. Schiff has been principal or co – applicant on over 50 research projects totaling over $15 million received from Tri-Council and other sources. She is also author of over 70 academic journal article and 3 books among many other specialised publications. Dr. Schiff’s research interests have crossed diverse topics in health equity and sustainability, with a particular focus on community health and sustainability in rural and remote contexts.
