Thank you for your willingness to share your home with one or more of our Student Teachers. Your generous cooperation will provide future teachers the opportunity to complete practicum experience away from home and is sincerely appreciated by the Faculty of Education.
The Faculty of Education pays:
• $45.00 per night per student for full room and board (our preferred arrangement).
• $20.00 per night per student for room and partial board or for room and cooking privileges (students provide and cook their own food).
The student teacher(s) will not be with you on weekends. Accommodations are from Sunday evening to Friday morning.
Fall Accommodations are 5 weeks in length.
Spring Accommodations are 6 weeks in length.
PSIII Accommodations (fall/spring) are 15 weeks in length (these placements are specific to certain school division agreements).
