Bonifacio named one of the most influential Filipina women in the world

University of Lethbridge professor Dr. Glenda Bonifacio has been selected to receive the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award in the Innovator and Thought Leader category. The award by the Filipina Women’s Network (FWN) recognizes women who have broken new ground in the global workplace by using emerging technology to transform the way people think, or by developing a product or service that has improved the lives of others.

Enrolment up at the University of Lethbridge’s Calgary campus

This fall, the University of Lethbridge welcomed one of the largest groups of students in its history, with a significant increase in the number of new students starting their classes at the Calgary campus. Enrolment in Calgary increased by 2.6 per cent, for a total of 795 students. Dr. Mike Mahon, U of L president, announced the figure during his annual Fiat Lux address on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
