U of L shows record enrolment as the 2017-2018 academic year gets underway

With the new academic year now in full swing, the University of Lethbridge is pleased to welcome all new and returning students — all 8,724 of them — to its Lethbridge and Calgary campuses. Overall enrolment increased by 1.1 per cent from the previous fall and represents a record number of students studying at the U of L. “We’re up 96 students from last year and that’s where we hoped to be,” says Kathleen Massey, associate vice-president (students). “There’s balanced growth at both the undergraduate and doctoral levels and that’s a healthy thing for a research university.”

Scholarship program to honour influential quartet, support educational opportunities for Blackfoot students

New Take Two speaker series to focus on U of L research

To that end, she created a new speaker series called Take Two. Once underway, the Take Two sessions will feature two researchers who approach a topic from different perspectives.

Shine On Summer Music Festival bringing together wide variety of outstanding musical artists

Southern Alberta’s biggest outdoor music event of the summer is just days away as the University celebrates its 50th anniversary with the Shine On Summer Music Festival. Free Community Fair invites families to celebrate University of Lethbridge’s 50th anniversary

Part of the Shine On Summer Festival and Homecoming Weekend, the Community Fair is a celebration of arts, culture and community.
