Jiskoot discusses glaciers, climate change

Renowned University of Lethbridge geography professor Dr. Hester Jiskoot will discuss the hot button issue of climate change and how it is affecting the world's glaciers, Tuesday in Pincher Creek.

Presented by the University of Lethbridge Senate Outreach Committee, Jiskoot will present Slip-Sliding Away: Glaciers, Climate Change, and Environmental Effects on Tuesday, Mar. 16 from 6 to 7 p.m. at St. Michael's School gymnasium in Pincher Creek.

Jiskoot is a glacier researcher and associate professor in the Department of Geography at the U of L. Her free presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.
