Research Data Centre

The Lethbridge branch of the Prairie Regional Research Data Centre (RDC) is one of over 30 RDC facilities across Canada that houses over 200 Statistics Canada confidential microdata files. The RDC, with its rich datasets, grants unique opportunities for researchers, including faculty and students, to conduct multi-disciplinary research. 

The Lethbridge branch which is located on the 11th floor of the University of Lethbridge Library, has been operational since 2011. It is part of the Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN). The Lethbridge RDC is affiliated to the Prairie Regional RDC (PRRDC) in Calgary and we work closely with the PRRDC team who supervise this branch and provide support remotely. 

Statistical software available in the branch include R, SAS, SPSS, and Stata. Researchers with approved RDC projects may reserve specific workstations through PickTime, our online booking system.
