JET Programme Info Session

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme offers university graduates the opportunity to live and work in Japan. Established in 1987, more than 57,000 JET Programme participants from around the world have gone to Japan to improve English language education and promote grassroots level internationalization.  Sponsored by the Government of Japan, it is one of the largest and most respected government-supported exchange programs in the world.

Research Data Management: The Basics

What do you do with your research data? Whether it’s qualitative or quantitative, having a sound plan to manage your research data is important, and it will strengthen your grant applications. Learn the basics of research data management, including an overview of the U of L Data Management Plan Assistant and other resources that can help guide you through the process. The last 20 minutes or so will be a workshop, so bring a laptop with you for some hands-on experience!

4th Annual Driedger Lecture Series - Friday, October 19, 2018

Inaugurated in 2016, the Driedger Lecture is delivered annually by a distinguished historian on an important historical topic. This series, along with student scholarships, is sponsored by the Driedger Fund, which was established by the children of Dr. Gerhard and Hilda Driedger to honour their parents' lifelong love of history.
