University of Lethbridge Pride Week begins with flag raising ceremony

Friday, June 17, 2022

The University of Lethbridge is kicking off Pride Week on campus with the annual raising of its Pride Flag.

Pride month is a celebration of the diversity of 2SLGBTQ+ communities, an acknowledgement of 2SLGBTQ+ history, and a continued recognition of the achievements of queer and trans individuals and groups. The University’s Pride Month: Return to Pride web page celebrates and honours the many voices of 2SLGBTQ+ students, staff and faculty.
