This marks the sixth consecutive year that the University has had the opportunity to present a Gairdner Laureate.

The University of Lethbridge is disappointed to announce that, due to illness, Arlene Dickinson is unable to attend Saturday’s Fall 2018 Convocation ceremony, at which she was to be presented with an honorary degree.
The University wishes Arlene a speedy recovery.

The results from a large national research project led by the Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Group (HALO) at the CHEO Research Institute shows that about two-thirds of Canadian children haven’t achieved an acceptable level of physical literacy.
