Funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) is bolstering research that will contribute to developing next-generation therapies for hard-to-treat cancers and providing a mobile lab that will allow animals to be studied in their natural habitats. Today at the University of Alberta, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, federal science minister, announced more than $23 million in funding for 95 projects at 26 universities across Canada.
