Advisory — Availability for Dr. Danny Le Roy in advance of PUBlic Professor Series talk on agri-business

The complexity of today’s agri-food business, from financial pressures to environmental concerns, technological changes, shifting consumer preferences, government interventionism and more, has never been so intense.

On Thursday, Oct. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre, Dr. Danny Le Roy will explore the economics of government interference in agriculture and agri-food markets and how applying economic principles can help us to better understand the issues facing those in today’s agri-business world. His PUBlic Professor Series talk is entitled, Cockwombles, Cornucopias and the Curious Task of Economics.

WHAT: Media availability for Dr. Danny Le Roy

WHEN: Monday, Oct. 20, 10 a.m.

WHERE: Science Commons Winter Garden (meet at the front entrance periodic table)

As many media members are unable to attend the evening PUBlic Professor Series talks, this is an opportunity to speak with Dr. Le Roy about his work.
