Mental Health Surveys

Mental health surveys have been administered to measure the impact of various health and wellness strategies that have been implemented on campus.

Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey

The CCWS is a survey designed for Canadian post-secondary institutions to assess factors that affect student mental and physical health and better support student wellbeing and services offered to University of Lethbridge students. The survey was first administered in Spring 2024.

National College Health Assessment

The NCHA is a survey designed to assess student health behaviours in order to provide better services and support for University of Lethbridge students. The University of Lethbridge first administered the survey in Spring 2013. The survey was conducted again in Fall 2014, Spring 2016, and Spring 2019.

Healthy Minds Survey

The purpose of this study is to understand the student perspective on handling the stresses of university life, their use of alcohol and other drugs, and how well mental and emotional health needs are being met. The survey was first administered in Spring 2014. The survey was conducted again in Spring 2015 and Spring 2017.

Healthy Bodies Survey

The purpose of this study is to understand the student perspective on eating, dieting, exercising, and body image, and how these relationships, in turn, fit into a larger picture of student health and well-being. The survey was first administered in Spring 2014. The survey was conducted again in Spring 2015.
