McAdam, Titley receive honours

Dr. Ian McAdam and Dr. Brian Titley were both honoured by the University of Lethbridge Wednesday as they received the Distinguished Teaching Award and the Ingrid Speaker Medal for Distinguished Research, Scholarship or Performance, respectively.

McAdam, of the U of L's English Department in the Faculty of Arts & Science, was selected by the Distinguished Teaching Award Selection Committee to receive the Distinguished Teaching Award to be presented at the 2009 Spring Convocation.

"The commitment of the university to teaching excellence is appropriately recognized through this award and I congratulate Dr. McAdam on being selected to receive the award in recognition of the quality of his teaching," University President, Dr. Bill Cade, says.

Titley is a member of the Faculty of Education. He has been selected to receive the Ingrid Speaker Medal for Distinguished Research, which will also be presented at the 2009 Spring convocation.
