Department of Philosophy Undergraduate Student Conference

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Lethbridge will host our Philosophy Undergraduate Student Conference on March 1, 2024.  Students will present papers on topics such as ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, logic, and the history of philosophy.

Time:  10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location:  AH116

The one-day conference will wrap up with a Keynote Speaker presentation by Dr. Agnes Tam (University of Calgary) - Toward an Ethics of Belonging.

Call for Papers and Creative Projects—Crossing Boundaries Graduate Symposium

We are pleased to announce the first annual Crossing Boundaries Symposium for graduate students in the fine arts, humanities and social sciences at the University of Lethbridge. Featuring a full day of presentations and a keynote lecture by a ULethbridge alumnus, Crossing Boundaries will showcase the innovative research and creative work being produced by MA, MFA, MMus and PhD students at our University. A community-building event, the symposium will foster collegial conversations across multiple disciplines and areas of inquiry.

Women in STEM Conference

The Women in STEM Conference aims to bring together the amazing women at ULethbridge across all STEM disciplines to showcase the work being done at our institution. 

Please consider participating if you are an undergraduate, graduate, postdoc, or researcher at ULethbridge, identify as a woman, and want to connect.

Anyone who participates in a research project that falls within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math is welcome to present at the Women in STEM Conference. All levels of education are welcome to present a poster.

Congratulations to all students who shared their work at WDCAG 2023!

The University of Lethbridge Department of Geography & Environment was well represented at the 64th Annual Meeting of the Western Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers in Abbotsford BC on March 10 and 11, 2023. This year's theme was "Planning for Resilience and Climate Change," though presentations and posters covered a range of topics. Eleven U of L students (six undergraduate and five graduate) shared their work and networked with students and faculty from universities across BC and Alberta.
