Library Services Desk Redevelopment: December 19 – 22, 2017 & January 2 – 5, 2018

Preparations for migrating research and technology support from the current Information & Research Assistance Desk to a space inside the General Services Desk space will begin December 19, 2017 and conclude by January 5, 2018.

The current Information & Research Assistance Desk will be removed following the migration. Throughout the process, there may be additional dust and noise associated with the work. Levels 9 and 11 will be least impacted by the work.

Library Intersession Hours: December 18, 2017 to January 7, 2018

During the intersession period between the fall and spring semesters (December 18, 2017 – January 8, 2018), the Library's hours are as follows:

  • December 18: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • December 19 – 21: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • December 22: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • December 23 – January 1: CLOSED
  • January 2 – 5: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • January 6 – 7: CLOSED

Therapy Dogs Returning to Library in Time for Exams!

Exams are upon you, but do not stress! Get your exams off to a good start, take a study break and come to the Library to see a therapy dog!

The Student Success Centre and the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs are back in the Library!

Feeling stressed? Need a study break? Come to the Library's Stress-Free Zone. Relax, enjoy free coffee and snacks, play a game, watch a movie, or just chill out!

What else will you find: colouring books, the Lego table (level 10), and new games and puzzles! We hope to see you there!

University Library Extended Hours: December 1 – 17

For your studying convenience, the Library’s extended hours run from Friday, December 1 until Sunday, December 17. During that time, the hours will be as follows:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Saturday – Sunday: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.

The Library will begin its intersession hours on Monday, December 18. For a complete calendar of library hours, click here.
