Library Hours | Reading Break: February 19 – 23

The Library's hours of operation during Reading Break (February 19 – 23) will be as follows:

  • Monday: CLOSED (Family Day)
  • Tuesday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Student Success Centre and the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs are back in the Library!

Are you feeling stressed, tired, or missing your own furry friend? Take a study break and come to the Library to see a therapy dog!

Library Games Night Returns! | January 26, 6:30 – 10 p.m.

The University Library will be hosting its Library Games Night and you are invited!

Students, staff, and faculty are all welcome to join us for game-playing of all kinds: board, card, and video! Students challenge your professors, professors challenge your students!

  • DAY: Friday, January 26
  • TIME: 6:30 – 10 p.m.
  • WHERE: Library (Level 10 North)

The Library will be open especially for this special event, but normal Library services will not be available.

Bring your own (non-alcoholic) beverages and snacks.

Women’s Roles in Blackfoot Society

Beverly Little Bear, a Kainai Elder and author, presents about the historical and current roles of women within the Blackfoot paradigm. Little Bear is one of the Blackfoot peoples most knowledgeable living female Elders.

This is a free event, but seating is limited.

Library Service Update: Circulation, Research, and Technology Assistance Desks Combined in Library

In the past, patrons had to go to three different desks for services. Last year we positioned research and technology at the same desk. In 2018, you will be able to receive circulation, research, and technology support at the same desk.
