ART NOW - Claöd Idia Speaks October 29th, 2014 at Noon

Claöd Idia simulates deviant behaviour though subtle/mostly unnoticeable means. She practices public moulting, grows beasts in the fault lines of infrastructural failures, and belongs to the Left Out club of Southern Alberta (LOCO-SA). She has exhibited locally, rationally, and inter-rationally in prestigious Tart institutions including the Insomniac Maniacal Wonder Gym of Transcona and the Lethargy of Alabama Llama Mama in the state of Apathy. She has published thousands of individual letters and characters including A, B, C, D, and DD.

ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN NOW - Chris Clark Speaks October 27th, 2014 at 6pm

Christine Clark is a designer and part-time coder who recently completed the MFA - New Media program at the University of Lethbridge. Her graduate research focused on the design of information visualizations when communicating wicked problems. The project that emerged was a design/science collaboration to visualize the past 60 years of climate data for localized regions across Alberta.

ART NOW - Patrick Mahon Speaks October 20th, 2014 at Noon

Patrick Mahon is an artist, curator and teacher/academic; he has been a faculty member in Visual Arts at Western University, London, ON, since 1995. He was Chair of the Department from 2000 to 2010. His work includes print-based projects that engage with historical and contemporary aspects of print culture, and involves responding to gallery and museum collections as well as establishing community-based art initiatives.
