GTAPD - Feedback and Assessment

This workshop is a part of the GTA-PD Online Teaching series which provides training and support for graduate students entering teaching assistantships. "So you want to learn to code: How Python can help with your next assignment" Workshop | October 5 or 7

This hands-on workshop will instruct participants on the basics of coding and guide them through the process of writing simple scripts in Python. Students attending this workshop will receive credit on their MyExperience Transcript.

Requirements:

  • Participants must be comfortable using a mouse and keyboard - no programming experience is required
  • Computers will be made available, but participants are welcome to bring their own laptop if they prefer

EndNote Part 1: Basics Workshop

EndNote is citation management software which can help you manage, organize and use your research literature. It integrates with Microsoft Word (and selected other word processing software) so that you can "cite-while-you-write" using your choice of citation styles. EndNote is available for both Windows and Mac computers. We will be using the latest version in the Windows/PC environment with Microsoft Word.
