News and Information

University of Lethbridge News and Information Services is an arm of the Communications, Marketing and Government Relations Office. Led by News & Information Manager, Trevor Kenney, and Public Affairs Advisor, Caroline Zentner, the office is the primary source of contact for media relations at ULethbridge. Responsible for the writing of news releases, co-ordinating media strategies, assisting in crisis communications, creating content for Communications and digitally publishing UWeekly, the office also maintains the UNews website and Notice Board.

Getting the U of L in the news is our top priority. We create and distribute news releases and publicize University success stories to generate local, regional, national and international media attention. We assist the media in locating expert sources and arrange interviews. We also provide information on the University, its services and upcoming events to the public.
