Advisory — Faculty of Education PSIII Launch Day hosts school divisions as part of Education Career Fair

Students in the Faculty of Education completing their final practicum, called Professional Semester III (PSIII) do a full semester internship of practice teaching in K-12 schools across the province. As they near completion of their Internship, the Faculty of Education hosts a culminating day of celebration called Launch Day – where interns launch into the next phase of their careers as educators.

Part of Launch Day includes the Education Career Fair where the Faculty hosts more than 20 school divisions. Interns can visit individual booths and speak directly with division representatives to learn about their priorities and potential hiring opportunities. Many school divisions interview students on the spot and some students are even hired for their first teaching jobs.
