Media Advisory — University of Lethbridge, Lethbridge Polytechnic and City of Lethbridge present STEM Fusion conference

The University of Lethbridge, with support from Lethbridge Polytechnic and the City of Lethbridge, will host the fifth annual STEM Fusion conference on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 8 p.m. in the Science Commons Atrium.

The annual conference connects science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals with commercialization, innovation and entrepreneurship.

“We’re excited to host this fifth annual event, this time with the theme of work integrated learning (WIL),” says Luc Roberts (BSc ’12, PhD ’23), entrepreneurial strategist with the ULethbridge Teaching Centre & Agility. “STEM Fusion is a great way for academic and industry leaders to network, form new connections and collaborations and find out what local businesses are doing to integrate WIL into their operations.”
