Therapy Dogs

The Student Success Centre and the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Service are bringing some furry relief to students who are preparing for final exams.

Shakespeare meets Dickens
Tuesday, Dec. 12, 7 to 9 p.m., ATB Financial Community Room, Casa
The Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society is presenting a Tudor/Victorian Christmas celebration, including performances of A Christmas Carol and scenes and songs from Shakespeare. Tudor treats like mulled wine, mince pies, eggnog and gingerbread will be served and audience members are encouraged to dress in Tudor or Victorian style.

ARRTI Speaker Series — Dr. Richard Fahlman
Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., B650, University Hall
Dr. Richard Fahlman, a biochemistry professor at the University of Alberta, will talk about his research into new mechanisms of gene expression that reveal details about how tumours are so different than their original tissue and how this could help develop new ways of combatting cancer. Everyone is welcome; coffee and snacks provided.
