WHAT: The U3T MRI Centre at the University of Lethbridge will officially open with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house
WHEN: Thursday, July 7, 1-4 p.m.
WHERE: The Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge (east entrance)
Local radiologists, U of L researchers and officials will be on hand to officially open the U3T MRI Centre, a first for southern Alberta. Following a ribbon cutting ceremony, a community open house will allow people to tour the new facility and get a look at the 3 tesla MRI that will be used for private clinical scanning as well as U of L research activities. An additional open house for health-care professionals will follow from 4 to 7 p.m.
