University of Lethbridge to introduce its 14th chancellor

WHAT: The University of Lethbridge will introduce its newly-elected chancellor WHEN: Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. WHERE: Markin Hall Atrium, University of Lethbridge campus WHO: President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mike Mahon will make the announcement to the campus community and be available for interviews along with the incoming chancellor.

University excited to welcome North & Company LLP as supporter of Play Day 2019

One of southern Alberta’s most established legal firms and community supporters, North & Company LLP, is on board to help deliver one of the region’s most attended family traditions, the annual University of Lethbridge Play Day. What began as a pilot project in 2012 has grown into a Family Day mainstay, as the eighth annual Family Day play event will take place Monday, February 18, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness.

U of L adds new graduate programs in health services management

The University of Lethbridge is adding two new graduate programs for health and business professionals who want to expand their skills in health-care management. The new programs, which will be offered at the U of L’s Calgary campus, include a graduate certificate and master’s in Health Services Management. Both are designed for health-care practitioners and entry-level managers who want to move to more senior positions.
