Destination Exploration and University of Lethbridge welcome campers to campus

Tuesday, July 4, 2017

STEM, STEAM, and Codemakers summer camps aim to ignite a passion for all things science and beyond!

Don’t be surprised to see plenty of young people on U of L’s campus during July and August. Learning Quest and Codemakers summer camps start July 4th and run until August 25th with Destination Exploration, Lethbridge’s leading youth science outreach program. Hundreds of children will get to make amazing new memories this summer at Mad Scientist, Grossology, Comics & Cartoons, and Tech Makers camps, along with many other exciting options.

The camps offer full days of science, technology, engineering, and math exploration through hands-on activities, experiments, and games. This year, Destination Exploration is excited to be introducing camps that incorporate the arts, social sciences and humanities. Campers will also get to experience all the research that is happening on campus with several activities and tours led by faculty members and graduate students.

Destination Exploration Learning Quest and Codemakers Summer Camps are put together by an amazing team of dedicated staff. Camp leaders have put in a great deal of effort to make this summer a great one for our campers. Camp is also made possible by our wonderful volunteers, grad student TAs, and management staff.
