Advisory - Piikani Nation students to take part in S.T.E.M. activities with University’s Destination Exploration team

WHAT: A group of Grades 6 to 9 students from Piikani Nation will be on campus taking part in a workshop featuring science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities

WHEN: Wednesday, January 29, 2020, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

WHERE: Science Commons, Room SA7300

Media are invited to attend as Grade 6 to 9 students take advantage of the new Destination Exploration science outreach space in Science Commons. Students will be working on electricity, circuits and Makey Makeys. The best opportunity for media to see the student projects is between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Enter the building at the front doors, Level 8, take the staircase down to Level 7 and cross the atrium to SA7300.
