Advisory — Opportunity to talk sentimental songs with PUBlic Professor Series presenter Dr. Emily Gale
More than just ear candy, those pop songs from the past that tug at your heart or lift your spirits create real emotional attachments. Why is that and why does it matter?
On Thursday, Feb. 27, 7 p.m. at the Owl Acoustic Lounge (free event, cash bar, everyone welcome), the University of Lethbridge’s Dr. Emily Gale will present Sentimental Songs for Sentimental People, examining these sentimental songs and why we should take our sounded feelings seriously.
WHAT: Media availability for Dr. Emily Gale
WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m.
WHERE: W758 (Meet in University Hall Atrium)
As many media members are unable to attend the evening PUBlic Professor Series talks, this is an opportunity to speak to Dr. Gale about her work and upcoming presentation.
