Advisory — Living Library event celebrates international education and diversity on campus
One of the highlights of the University of Lethbridge’s International Education Week is the Living Library event hosted by the ULethbridge Library in collaboration with International Student Services.
This year, more than 30 international students representing 14 countries will participate by creating cultural displays for the campus community to visit and learn more about their home countries. More than a traditional library, the Living Library gives people the chance to “borrow” a person instead of a book. Visitors to the Living Library can engage in conversations with members of the University community from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, gaining firsthand insight into their stories, experiences and traditions.
WHAT: Living Library
WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Corridor outside the ULethbridge Library entrance
Students from the following countries will be represented: Bangladesh, Bermuda, Burkina Faso, China, Germany, India, Jamaica, Japan, Mongolia, Nigeria, Philippines, South Korea, Ukraine and Zimbabwe.
