Advisory — Incoming students get opportunity to experience University of Lethbridge campus at Ahead of the Herd

The circle of student life continues this weekend at the University of Lethbridge as incoming students will take part in the annual Ahead of the Herd orientation event, Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Last week, we proudly celebrated over 1,300 graduates at Spring 2025 Convocation, and now the excitement shifts to welcoming our next class of students,” says Hannah Thomas, Orientation, Transition & Retention Coordinator. “This is a fun and exciting event where new students can get a feel for the university, connect with future classmates and mentors, and meet the people who will support them throughout their journey at ULethbridge.”

WHAT: Ahead of the Herd

WHEN: Saturday, June 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: Throughout the ULethbridge campus, originating at the Science Commons

Ahead of the Herd is an opportunity for new students to start exploring campus, build relationships with other first-year students, meet student mentors, staff and faculty, and most importantly — have a lot of fun! The day will have students moving as they travel across campus for various games and activities.
