The University of Lethbridge is recognizing National Indigenous Peoples Day with activities on its Lethbridge campus this week. Following are events open to the media and general public.

Tuesday, June 21

11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Round Dance in the Atrium (University Hall)

Presented by Iikaisskini Indigenous Services in partnership with the Dhillon School of Business

12 to 1 p.m.

BBQ Lunch in the Atrium (University Hall)

Presented by Iikaisskini Indigenous Services, in partnership with the Mastercard Program and EleV

1 to 3 p.m.

Oki Sign Making (Innovation Zone, SA6304, Science Commons)

Presented by Iikaisskini Indigenous Services in partnership with Agility

Wednesday, June 22

1 to 3 p.m.

Beading Workshop (Iikaisskini (Low Horn) Gathering Place, W650)

Presented by Iikaisskini Indigenous Services, in partnership with the Mootookakio’ssin Research Project, the Art Gallery and the Faculty of Fine Arts — workshop with Melissa Shouting
