ART NOW - Dave Dyment Speaks March 14th, 2016 at Noon in the Recital Hall

Dave Dyment is a Toronto based artist whose work encompasses audio, video, photography, writing, curating and the production of artists’ books and multiples. He has exhibited across the country and was recently included in the Montreal Biennale. Many of his recent projects have been in response to site-specific histories (the Power Plant archives, The Walper Hotel in Kitchener and the Given-Shaw public school archives). In 2008 he was the artist in residence at the Glenfiddich Distilleries in Northern Scotland, where he produced a 100-year barrel of whiskey.

Amy Malbeuf is a Métis visual artist from Rich Lake, Alberta, Canada. Malbeuf has exhibited her work nationally and internationally at such venues as the MacKenzie Art Gallery, Regina; Kamloops Art Gallery, Kamloops; Contemporary Calgary; Kings ARI, Melbourne, Australia; and Stride Gallery, Calgary. ART NOW - April Matisz Speaks February 22nd, 2016 at Noon in the Recital Hall

“Living in Puerto Rico allowed me the space and time to develop my studio practice.  Through painting, drawing and printmaking, I explored landscapes, primarily though the lens of science, ecological theory, and phenomenology.  After 5 years abroad, I returned to Lethbridge, where I work as an artist and am a mother to two young children.
