Condolence Notice — Marie "Suzanne" Lavoie

The University of Lethbridge extends sincere condolences to the family and friends of Suzanne Lavoie, who passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the age of 58.

Lavoie worked as a caretaker for five years with Housing Services before joining the staff at Facilities three-and-a-half years ago.

“She will be greatly missed; everyone really liked her,” says Judy Jaeger, caretaking manager. “She had a great personality and so many talents. Suzanne was very articulate and well-read.”

Condolence Notice — Jessie Snow

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jessie Snow (BASc (BA) ’71, BEd ’72, DipEd ’81), who passed away Jan. 9 at the age of 97.

Born in Niagara Falls, Ont., Snow moved to a ranch just outside Milk River with her husband, Jay, after the Second World War. She was a strong advocate for the U of L to be located on the west side and was a founding member of the U of L Senate, serving until 1974.
