Condolence Notice—Logan Boulet

With heavy hearts, the University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to Toby (BEd ’89; MEd ’04) and Bernadine (BEd ’88) Boulet on the loss of their son Logan, a Humboldt Broncos defenseman who lost his life when the team bus was involved in a collision on Friday, April 6.

Condolence Notice — Brock Hirsche

With deep sadness, the University of Lethbridge extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Brock Hirsche, who passed away Sunday, April 8 at the age of 26.

Hirsche was diagnosed with testicular cancer in January, 2016. Initial treatments were successful but, unfortunately, the cancer returned in 2017.

Condolence Notice — Louis Soop

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Louis Soop (BASc ’86), who passed away on Friday, March 16 at the age of 81.

Soop was a sessional instructor in Indigenous Studies for 20 years, beginning in January of 1996 and ending in December, 2016. He taught conversational Blackfoot at introductory and advanced levels.
