Draft Policies Available for Review

There are three draft policies available for review:

  • Flag Policy (revised)
  • Postdoctoral Fellows Policy (revised)
  • Designation and Appointment of Senior Administrators Policies (new & revised)*to be posted September 25

As part of the policy development process, we invite all employee groups to review the draft policies.  These documents have already been reviewed by Statutory Deans' Council.

Cannabis Awareness Session October 3, 2018 or October 12, 2018 12:00 p.m. -1:00 p.m.

Do you want to learn more about cannabis? Session open to all faculty, staff, and students.

This cannabis awareness session will include:

  1. Recreational cannabis education, prevention and harm reduction.
  2. Alberta's legalization framework
  3. Information related to the pending Cannabis Policy on campus.

 

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.  Seating is limited.

Project Sandbox: So you were told to take a picture: How to use a DSLR camera

Attendees will gain an understanding of how to use a DSLR camera and receive an introduction on how to properly compose a photograph.

Cannot attend this session? Encore session: Wednesday, November 7; 3–4 p.m.

All presentations and workshops are located in the Library, across from the Information Research and Assistance Desk (IRAD).

Pause for Paws! Therapy Dogs Returning to Library | September 18, 6-7 p.m.

It's a new academic year and the Student Success Centre and the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs are back in the Library!

Hit pause on your workday or studies and come to the Library to hang out with these special guests! You'll have the opportunity to talk with volunteers, pet their dogs, and receive some unconditional love!
