Lethbridge Transit is excited to introduce the cityLink Network!

cityLink provides fast, frequent service to work, school, shopping, medical appointments, and leisure activities.

With two new Rapid Corridor Service routes:

Rapid 10/10 Corridor Service- Connecting Downtown Lethbridge to the University of Lethbridge every ten minutes for a ten minute ride.

Rapid 5/15 Corridor Service - Connecting Varsity Village to the Univeristy of Lethbridge every 15 minutes for a 5 minute ride.

Today marks the onset of a very important month here at the University of Lethbridge

At their May 28, 2021 Open Session meeting, the Board of Governors approved:

• Use of External Auditors for Non-Audit Services Policy (NEW)
• Investment Valuation Policy (RESCIND)

The University Library’s Anderson Hall (AH176) pick-up and return services and online assistance services will not be available on Victoria Day (Monday, May 24).

On Wednesday, May 5, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced significant restrictions that will take effect immediately and remain in place for at least the next three weeks. Operations at the University of Lethbridge will be affected by these new measures.

All post-secondary institutions must move their activities online. Classes that are fully in person or have an in-person component and that are scheduled for May 5 will be paused for one day to allow for this transition. All scheduled online classes will proceed as planned.

The onset of May is also the annual beginning of Asian Heritage Month in Canada and this year, perhaps more than any other year in recent memory, this month takes on special meaning.

Today, on this National Day of Mourning, we take pause to remember those workers who have lost their lives or been injured or become ill on the job or due to a work-related tragedy.

Between May 3 and August 31, 2021, contractors will be working in E610/E620 and W650 doing renovations for the Iikaisskini Gathering Space project. Access to these spaces will be restricted and the construction could cause some noise disruptions to adjacent areas. 

From Monday, May 3 to Thursday, June 3 asbestos removals will be conducted in W650 in the University Centre for the Arts. The work is within vacated areas only and will not be a disruption to normal operations.
