The University of Lethbridge will lift its general mask mandate on May 6, 2022.

On March 1, 2022, the Government of Alberta removed the public health requirement to wear masks while in indoor spaces. Before the Alberta government made this announcement, ULethbridge announced it would maintain its masking mandate until the end of the semester, which concludes May 5, and that following this date, masking would be optional.

ULethbridge continues to strongly encourage masking to reduce the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. The University is a mask-friendly environment, and we ask that you respect the decisions made by all members of the campus community.
