ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN NOW - Shawn Van Sluys Speaks March 6th, 2017 at 6pm in L1060

In early 2016, Musagetes, an international arts foundation, launched two inter-related programs: (1) the ArtsEverywhere online platform (ArtsEverywhere.ca) and (2) a rhizomatically expanding series of Trans-national Projects in São Paulo, New York, Dakar, and elsewhere. What Now: Thinking Through Canada 150

In an era where we are again seeing the dangers of nationalism—something contemporary art has claimed to reject outright, yet unquestionably participates in—it is worthwhile to think carefully, skeptically, and curiously about this anniversary and the charged moment it will afford.
