The Alberta RNA Research and Training Institute presents Dr. Sean McKenna from the University of Manitoba. His talk is titled "Investigations into a long non-coding RNA critical for cancer cell survival and proliferation." The ARRTI Speaker Series is open to the public and was established to bring leading researchers to the University of Lethbridge for lectures on a broad range of topics relating to RNA research. All are welcome! Coffee and snacks will be provided.

Abstract:

Open to all, experienced crafty folk can bring their own projects or new comers can come and try making a granny square with help from gallery staff.

Due to a scheduling conflict, this event will be postponed until later in the summer.

A one Day Colour Fun Run around the Campus grounds to support the non profit organization, Volunteer Lethbridge.

Digital Blitz is an exhibition featuring New Media projects from students taking Advanced Studio, Game Design and Theory, Animation and Internships.

“Nothing but an open mouth, or perhaps an eye, an ear: nothing but an open body. Bodies are adoration in all their openings.” 


Annie Martin will discuss her recent project, adoration, at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, within the installation space. adoration was created in collaboration with soprano Janet Youngdahl, with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts, The Banff Centre for the Arts and OBORO.
