Condolence Notice — Peter Williams

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Peter Williams, who passed away April 17 at age 76 following a five-year battle with cancer.

Williams served on the U of L Board of Governors from 1991 to 1997 and was the Board’s representative on the University Senate from 1991 to 1994.

2020 Recognition Ceremony postponed

The 2020 Long Service Awards and Retiree Recognition Ceremony is being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This ceremony, which includes the President’s Award for Service Excellence, the Long Service Awards and Retiree Recognition, recognizes AUPE, APO, ESS and faculty members for their years of service to the University. At this time, the University hopes to reschedule the event in the fall.
