Centre for Oral History & Tradition - Intermediate Workshop (Galt Museum & Archives)

The Centre for Oral History and Tradition Community Oral History will present an Intermediate community oral history workshop (October 21st; 9:30 - 4:15 p.m.; Galt Museum & Archives - 502 - 1st Street S) that will provide participants the opportunity to further develop their own oral history projects.   Topics covered will include: analyzing oral history interviews, ethical conduct in human subject research, First Nations oral history and funding community projects.  This workshop builds upon the beginner community oral history workshops that were offered throughout the spring and summe

Child care research earns StFX professor three national awards at Canadian Historical Association Annual Meeting

Derek De Coste wins 2016 Michael Chan Prize in Asian Studies

Derek De Coste has been awarded the 2016 Michael Chan Prize in Asian Studies for his well-researched, 50-page paper, "Remembering the Nanjing Atrocity".  This paper was written for an Independent Study in History with Dr. Gideon Fujiwara.  The following summary was provided by Drs.
