Annie Martin will discuss her recent project, adoration, at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, within the installation space. adoration was created in collaboration with soprano Janet Youngdahl, with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts, The Banff Centre for the Arts and OBORO.

The Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs (SACPA) presents a session with University of Lethbridge professors Drs. Glenda Bonifacio and Caroline Hodes as they discuss the impact of International Women's Day

A newly created vocal ensemble, Sweet Breath, will appear at the lecture recital: “Singing the Sacred Space” presented by Janet Youngdahl at the SAAG on March 12 at 2pm. Composed of seven professional woman singers, the recital includes chant by Hildegard von Bingen, Hebrew chant with Persian melodies, sacred polyphony by Duruflé and spirituals.

The recital will take place within adoration, an installation by Annie Martin created in collaboration with Janet Youngdahl.
