Cannabis Awareness Session October 26, 2018 12:00pm -1:00pm

Sessions open to all Faculty, Staff and Students.

This cannabis awareness session will include:

1. Recreational cannabis education, prevention and harm reduction.

2. Alberta's legalization framework.

3. Information related to the pending Cannabis Policy on campus.

Modern Languages Film #4: Paper Dove

Paloma de papel [Paper Dove] (Perú, Fabrizio Aguilar, 2003). Eleven-year-old Juan is living a kid’s life in the Peruvian Andes, unaware of the civil war that is raging at his doorstep. But when he discovers that his stepfather is a Marxists guerilla, Juan is kidnapped and taken to be indoctrinated and taught how to make weapons. Eventually the group holding him decides to attack his village, and Juan is faced with difficult choices.  (In Spanish with English subtitles).
