PROJECT SANDBOX: Socializing - Innovating - Collaborating

Project Sandbox is an ongoing examination into the enhancement of student learning through providing tools, space, collaborative opportunities and education. The intent of this project is to come away with answers for users’ needs/wants and how to establish a space that is given value through the input of the people that use it.

Attendees will learn about technology available at the library and gain an understanding of the tools and resources available to support creative endeavors.

Library Stress-Free Zone: December 7 to 16, 2018

Feeling stressed? Need a study break? Come to the Library's Stress-Free Zone. Relax, enjoy free coffee and snacks, play a game, watch a movie, or just chill out!

What else will you find: colouring books, the Lego table, and new games and puzzles! We hope to see you there!

Pause for Paws! Tuesday, December 11 from 3 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.

Take a Pause for Paws during this exam time!

If you are feeling stressed, tired, or missed your own furry friend going into exams, then take a study break and come to the Library to see a therapy dog! You'll have the opportunity to talk with volunteers, pet their dogs, and receive some unconditional love!

WHEN: Tuesday, December 11
TIMES: 3 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.

Also, have you thought about your own pet as a therapy dog? This is a great time to learn about the program from coordinators and volunteers while you are here.

Library Extended Hours: November 30 to December 16

For your studying convenience, the Library's extended hours run from Friday, November 30 until Sunday, December 16.
During that time, the hours will be as follows:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday – Sunday: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Library will begin its intersession hours on Monday, December 17.
