The University of Lethbridge extends it sincere condolences to the family and friends of Gregory Tompkins, who recently passed away.

Tompkins was a longtime employee of the U of L who started as a research assistant in Physics in 1984. In 1986, he was hired as a technician for the Department of Physics and Astronomy and he was promoted to technical specialist in 1996. Working with Dr. David Naylor and the Astronomical Instrumentation Group (AIG), Tompkins provided technical support for electronic instrument control and data acquisition.

Parking Stalls to be closed in Lot B2 for Piikani House construction.

In early May, Library staff will begin a project to clean and shift the collections shelved on Levels 9 and Level 10 (north). Please be aware that the project involves the use of vacuum cleaners, so nearby study areas may be affected by the associated noise.

Signage will be placed in the areas that are immediately affected.

Arts & Science advisors unavailable on Thursday, May 5. The office will be open from 9:30 am - 12 noon and again from 1:30-3:30 pm. Advisors will be available and the office open on Friday, May 6 from 9:30 am - 2 pm.
