Campus Storm Drain System Repairs Project

Campus Storm Drain System Repairs Project:

Contractors are scheduled from June 6 to August 31 to repair storm pipe from University Hall to the Students Union building. This work will require excavation of various asphalt pathways, the UCA Level 4 loading dock area and across Coulee Trail road. Additional notices will be posted indicating exact closures and dates as work progresses.

 

Please obey barricades, signage and detours for your safety and the safety of the workers.

Valley Road Construction

Work to remove speed bumps on Valley Road will begin Thursday May 26. Crews are removing the raised asphalt speed bumps to reduce the vibration caused by heavy equipment using Valley Road during construction of the Destination Project science & academic building. Following the removal new crosswalk markings will be painted to demarcate the pedestrian walkways.

Residence village roofing

Starting May 26/16 Contractors will be starting to mobilize in the Residence village town house and Paterson Centre areas to prepare for re-roofing. They will be working in this area for approximately 4 weeks. Approximate work hours will be 7:00am - 5:00pm. Scheduling for sequence of buildings to be determined in conjunction with Housing Services and Paterson Centre occupants.
